With 210,000 square feet of floor space, the casino features an impressive range of games. You will find more than 4,000 slot machines and 70 table games at Soaring Eagle. In addition, a smoke free poker room features 14 tables that run around the clock. Bingo is popular, with games running Wednesday through Sunday.

On this page you’ll find everything you need to know to get the best from your visit to the Soaring Eagle Casino. This includes details about casino gaming, sports betting and the rewards program below.

History of the Soaring Eagle Casino

The Soaring Eagle is situated on the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation reservation in the city of Mount Pleasant. The resort has been in operation since 1998 and contributes significantly to the economic welfare of the tribe. Mount Pleasant has a population of around 26,000 people, a third of whom are residents of the reservation. As well as gambling, the Soaring Eagle Casino bills itself as a vacation resort.

In 2017 a huge renovation program began. This included adding a new sports bar and nightclub near the gaming floor. There was also an update to the Entertainment Hall, a new high-limit and VIP lounge area and a new poker room.

Slots at Soaring Eagle Casino

The Soaring Eagle Casino features around 4,200 gaming machines. The games are split between the main gaming floor and the “Slot Palace” — both areas feature a high-limit zone. There’s something for every slot player, starting with penny slots, moving all the way up to high denomination slot games. There is an emphasis on bringing the newest slots to the casino.

New slots on the casino floor include the following:

  • Golden Jungle Grand
  • How to Marry a Millionaire (starring Marilyn Monroe)
  • Magic of the Nile
  • Wild Pirates
  • Fortune Totems
  • Star Goddess — Stars of Wealth
  • Crazy Money Double Deluxe
  • Dragon’s Law

With more than 4,000 machines in total, you can be sure that your favorite classic slots from Scientific Games, IGT and Aristocrat (and others) will be featured. You will find classic titles including Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania, Wolf Run and Buffalo — alongside games tied to the latest musicians, popular TV shows and blockbuster movies.

Table games

With 70 tables available, all the main table games and many variations are covered. Blackjack, craps and roulette all have multiple options.

Many of the table games feature side bets with progressive jackpots, including the “Multi Game Progressive.” This is the biggest table games jackpot, often in the six-figure range. It can be won via the casino poker games with an optional $5 side bet. Tables that feature this include Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, Let It Ride, Crazy 4 Poker and Mississippi stud.

Three card poker has its own progressive side bet. Place a $1 bet for the chance to win a huge prize if you are dealt the ace, king and queen of spades.

Soaring Eagle poker room

The poker room at the casino features a whole range of games. Texas Hold ’em is always the most popular, but players can also enjoy other formats such as Omaha, seven card stud, Pineapple, Crazy Pineapple and a series of multi-format games. As well as cash games, players can also enjoy regular tournaments, as well as sit and go-type events.

Jackpots also feature in the poker games. A bad beat jackpot pays out when you get beaten with a qualifying quads hand or better. There are also smaller jackpot prizes available for hitting named hands.

This poker room is especially good for the high rollers, as there is a cap of just $5 on rake on no-limit games. The Soaring Eagle poker room has a reputation as one of the best in Michigan.

The Soaring Eagle Casino is one such site that has that option — and is expected to offer both online sports betting and online casino games. It has yet to announce a partnership to move forward with creating gambling apps.
